About Us
Atomic Hops is a California born hop farming company founded by Art Prudhel and Thomas Bell. Together, we are filling a prevalent void in the California craft beer industry- local grown hops. Very little hops are grown here in California yet our state was once the center of America’s hop industry. California has more breweries than any other state in the country and we have recognized the need for locally grown hops. Here at Atomic Hops, we strive to create an industry that focuses on the California brewer’s needs. We don’t want to simply sell hops; we want to help evolve the California hop industry as breweries continue to set themselves apart from one another. Atomic Hops is also the first hop farming company in the state of California to open up their hop processing facility to the public.
Our Continued Growth
The early success of Atomic Hops, along with continued interest from Central Valley farmers to grow hops of their own, has led to the development of our California Hop Co-op. More details to follow in the coming months!
